Loon Bowl

$120.00 CAD

Description

This ceramic bowl was hand carved by one of the last remaining people still making them. The beautiful black loon pops out magnificently on the green and blue mountain scape.

Loon: Coast Salish legend explains that Loon once helped an old blind man escape danger by ferrying him across the lake. Along the way, Loon gave the old man back his sight by diving him into the water. They are a symbol of serenity and the reawakening of old hopes, wishes, and dreams.
