This plaque is designed in a West Coast tradition. The hawk is shown in a sitting position and has a hawk spirit on his shoulder. Below is the hawk man wearing a hawk head piece. Hawk Man’s nose is cut through an opening, for the artist shaped it inward bend like the beak of the hawk. A very unique carving.
