Nathan Lewis

Nathan Lewis was born 1973 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is a member of Squamish Tribe of the Coast Salish Nation.

Nathan began to carve respectively at the age of 19 and apprenticed under such internationally known artist Jacob Lewis. and William Watts.

He is versatile artist who enjoys carving and working in various mediums art.

He carves masks, sculptures, totem poles and has assisted in the design and completion of a 37″ foot canoe for the Squamish Nation Tribe.

Nathan’s future aspirations include to attend Emily Carr Institute of Art and to continue designing on a full-time basis.
