Stan Joseph has hand carved this elaborate plaque out of tight-grained red cedar, applied fine strokes of colour and added fur attachments to animate the “Timber Wolf”. Wolves are known to mate for life, travel in packs and hunt together. The Wolf is a symbol of family and unity among the Haida Culture.
