Tsonokwa

$500.00 CAD

Description

Marvin Dana Baker has beautifully hand carved this wooden plaque in traditional West Coast style depicting the “Tsonokwa” (wild woman of the woods) a supernatural, monstrous 30 foot tall figure that is slow and lives deep in the woods. She would startle young children who had left their villages. She is shown here holding a human figure and a salmon.
