Thunderbird, Killer Whale and Chief Pole

$4,500.00 CAD

Description

This pole was created by a husband and wife carving team. A proud thunderbird is on the top, spreading his wings as if he was about to fly away. He is sitting on the tail of a killer whale, who has three fins attached. The killer whale is on top of the Chief, who is wearing a potlatch hat and a festive face painting. The Chief is wrapped in a beautiful blanket which is decorated with images of a thunderbird catching a salmon, a killer whale, and a seal. It is carved and painted very nicely, a great piece to add to your collection.
