This bear plaque has been handcrafted by local Squamish artist Fred Baker. Carved from yellow cedar and then stained with deep browns, this piece will no doubt improve any room it’s displayed in.
Bear: Subject to many legends, both Haida and West Coast people refer to Bear as “Elder Kinsman.” They are also treated as a noble guest that represents power, strength, vitality, courage, and good health.
