This mask was created and carved by a master artist. It shows a shaman with a crystal horn on its forehead and two abalone eyes and finished with horsehair. Its mouth is open and it is carved with lots of detail and stained brown for a nice natural wood look. A shaman functions as a mediator , healer visionary, guide and counselor. They are able to access spirits and mountain links between the many worlds of cosmos.
