Rattle – Raven Table Sculpture

Original price was: $7,000.00 CAD.Current price is: $6,300.00 CAD.

Description

This rattle disguises itself as a table sculpture. The raven is carved flying with open wings. The raven’s legs are actually the rattle handle, which can rest on the bottom base, and can be detached from the base to be held and shaken. The Raven is beautifully carved and decorated with paua shells inlaid on all surfaces. The sculpture base is round in shape with sloped sides, carved with two ravens facing two eagles. The base is also decorated with paua shells and integrates the rattle into a table sculpture. The master artist Jacob Lewis used a total of 300 paua shell pieces to create this wonderful sculpture. Very unique for any art collector!
