Northwest Coast Art – Raven and Human Spirit

$800.00 CAD

Description

In this beautiful piece master carver Russell Williams narrates the story of how the first man and woman came: the Raven was hungry and went to shores looking for foods, then he found a clam. He pecked and pecked, then the shell opened, and out of it came the very first man and woman. The Raven in this sculpture is standing on a razor clam and you can see human figures emerging from the shell.
