My name is Tiffany Marie Point. I am a First Nations Indigenous from the Squamish, Musqueam and Statime Nations. I was born and raised in East Vancouver, BC. Squamish and Musqueam comes from my late fathers side of the family. My father had passed on just over a little year ago. Statime comes from my mother’s side of the family based out of Lillooet, BC. My father is Vincent Point and my mother is Loreen Point. I also have 2 children; a boy named Daytona (12 years of age) and a girl named Avery (10 years old). I love my beautiful kids so much!
I have been fascinated with artwork since I was 15 years of age. I am now 37 years of age. I started out by doing beadwork such as braceletters, keychains, medicine bags, and lighter cases. I am also fascinated in painting. I find it very relaxing and soothing. It helps me keep my mind, body and spirit together. It also helps me maintain my patience.
I am always so happy and proud. Once my work is done, just knowing that someone somewhere will be starring while appreciating my work. That one of a kind piece inspires me to continue to be creative using two hands and a heartbeat.
