Tribe: Squamish Tribe of Coast Salish Nation
More than twenty years ago, two brothers, Frank and Richard White Eagle started carving.

They come from a long line of artists and as a result it was only natural they began to learn the skill. Both were fortunate to have the opportunity to study carving and discover the many stories of their culture under the direction from Frank White Eagle Sr., their father.

Richard and Frank were born and both live in the beautiful coastal mountain range of the North Shore located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Capilano Reserve of the Squamish Tribe, the Coast Salish Nation.

Richard and Frank’s style is Coast Salish Contemporary. Their works are sought after locally and internationally by both collectors and galleries due to the distinctive painting skills, detailed carving style they present to each piece.
