Reubin Schooner is a talented artist associated with the Tsleil-Waututh Nation. He was born on March 1997, and from a young age, he showed a keen interest in art. His mentors and inspirations for becoming an artist include Kelly Wilson, who played a significant role in nurturing his passion for artistic expression.

Artistry runs in the family for Reubin as both of his Father and siblings are also artists. His primary areas of expertise include painting, jewelry making and carving. Reuben consider his biggest accomplishment to be a carefully crafted wooden spoon. This piece holds a special place in his heart, representing his dedication and skills.

His artistic style is heavily inspired by his father, who introduced him to the Haida  and Heiltsuk style.
