Melanie is a proud member of the Lil’wat Nation. Born in 1971.

Her Journey into the world of art was deeply influence by her friends, who inspired her to explore her creative talents from a young age. It was this early exposure to arts and crafts that sparked her passion, and in the year of 2000, Melanie began to carve and year 1991 when she start to make dream catchers.

Specializing in dream catchers, and her work reflects her deep connection to her cultural roots and her artistic journey. Each piece she creates is a blend of traditional techniques and personal expression, making her work both unique and meaningful. Her dream catchers are not only visually captivating but also carry spiritual significance, resonating with her heritage and stories of her people..
