Jim Yelton is Coast Salish  a proud member of Squamish Nation, Born in July, 1955.

He is a talented carver celebrated for his intricate craftmanship and deep connection to traditional Indigenous Art. Jim began carving at a young age together with his brother’s  with the guidance of Floyd Joseph, Marvin Baker and other talented master carver.

His creation include masterfully crafted talking sticks, poles, plaques and paddles.
