Gregory Joseph

Gregory Clark Joseph, a member of the Squamish Nation, was born on November 8th, 1954 and has been developing his carving practice since he was just 16 years old.

Gregory mastered his artistic skills intuitively, and with the only other artists in his family being that of his 7 brothers, he is primarily self taught. Gregory’s works include masks, rattles, and intricate support canes which he designs for the elderly. Each one of Gregory’s pieces are hand carved and painted with intention and care.
