Dorran Lewis was born on May 1957, Doran is a talented self-taught carver from the Squamish Nation, based in Capilano Reserve.
Beginning his carving journey at age of 15, Doran has become renowned for his panels, which beautifully reflect the traditions and stories of his people. His artistry continuous to inspire, with his son Doran Lewis Jr., proudly following in his footsteps as a carver. Through his work, Doran preserves and celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the Squamish Nation.
