Deon Louie, born 1972, is a Coast Salish artist from Sechelt, BC Canada. He has been carving 25 years and learned from artists from Alert Bay such as Jimmy Jeffries. He carves masks, plaques, and sculptures, as well as paints. The piece Deon is most proud of is a raven sculpture he created that was incredibly detailed, depicting the raven’s wings outstretched in innate beauty.
