David Louis

David Louis was born in 1969. He developed his own style over 20 years with lots of influence from carvers like William Watts, Dave Nahanee, Edmund Williams, Darren Lewis and Peter Charlie.

He has also copied his father’s style of carving over the years and was heavily influenced by him. His mother is Squamish, and his father is Musqueam. David loves to carve plaques, mask, panels, and totem poles.
